Smoothie bowls are a fun way to jump-start your morning or power up your afternoon. Full of antioxidants and nutrients, these smoothie bowl recipes are thick, spoon-able, tasty and easy to make.

We partnered with Metropolitan Market to create two smoothie bowl recipes - Red or Blue Antioxidant Blast Smoothie and Green Power Smoothie - that you will enjoy again and again.

Makes 1-2 servings, according to recipe. (Recipe can be doubled).

Smoothie Bowl Tips:

  • Always include something frozen in your smoothie – frozen fruit, a cut-up frozen banana, frozen
spinach or ice cubes. Note that ice cubes will dilute the flavors. (Make ice cubes ahead of time
with coconut water or a “milk” if desired.)
  • Use ripe, top quality fruit – fresh or frozen.
  • After blending, taste and adjust honey and other ingredients to your taste!
Smoothie Bowl Base:
  • 1 ripe banana , sliced (frozen or fresh)
  • ½ cup almond or other non-dairy milk, dairy milk or unflavored yogurt
